Job summary

Medix is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment at a premier LTACH in Stoughton, MA. You will provide adult-focused respiratory care in a high-acuity setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and delivering ventilator management, ABG analysis, and bedside procedures.

After a brief orientation, you will cover nights (6:30 PM–7:00 AM), handle high-volume workloads, and occasionally provide sole overnight respiratory coverage.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Respiratory Therapist License
• BLS/CPR and ACLS certifications
• Recent ICU/critical care experience
• Ability to intubate, manage vents, perform ABGs and EKGs, and lead codes
• Adult patients (18+) care experience

Responsibilities

• Provide adult-only respiratory care in LTACH setting
• Intubate, manage vents, ABG analysis, EKGs, assist with bronchoscopies
• Lead resuscitation codes overnight without on-site physician
• Operate and troubleshoot ventilators and high-flow systems
• Administer standard respiratory therapies to long-term patients
