American Traveler, LLC. seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift float position spanning Marlborough and nearby campuses. Requires 2 years of RRT experience, AC/ICU critical care and Level I trauma exposure, and MA license approval.

The role covers multiple campuses, including Marlborough, University, and Memorial, with a 3x12 night schedule, 7 days/week availability, and a union environment. Travel and relocation benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Must have MA state RRT license.
• Minimum 2 years of RRT experience required.
• Documented critical care and Level I trauma facility experience required.
• Acute care/trauma experience required.
• BLS and RRT certification required.
• NRP certification preferred.
• NICU experience preferred.
• Pass/Fail EKG test during orientation.
• Two professional references required, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher.

Responsabilités

• Float position covering multiple campuses including Marlborough, University, and Memorial, all within 20 minutes of each other.
• Memorial campus has NICU; floating to all campuses is expected.
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours with EOW/EOH rotation.
• Union facility; must be able to work all 7 days of the week.
• Work settings include Adult Critical Care, Emergency Department, and NICU.
• Ventilator management including BiPAP, CPAP, high frequency jet ventilator, and high frequency oscillator.
• Airway management including intubation assist, extubation, and tracheostomy care.
• Administers medications such as Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, and other respiratory treatments.
• Chest physiotherapy, arterial blood gas interpretation, and pulmonary hygiene.
