American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a high-acuity Level I trauma center on the night shift. The role requires 3+ years of recent critical care experience and current MA RRT license if applicable. BLS/ACLS/PALS are required; NRP preferred.

Epic charting experience is preferred. Responsibilities include 3x12 hour nights (18:45-7:15), cross-campus float between University, Memorial, and Marlborough campuses, and every other weekend/holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RRT license required if applicable.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• NRP certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of recent critical care experience.
• Level I emergency care experience within the last 6 months.
• Experience in high acuity, high volume facilities.
• Community hospital experience alone will not be considered.
• Epic charting experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Night shift schedule, 18:45-7:15.
• Cross-campus float coverage between University, Memorial, and Marlborough campuses.
• Every other weekend and holiday required.
• Epic charting system used.
• High acuity, high volume critical care environment.
• Scheduling based on unit needs; no block schedules accommodated.
• Union facility; must be able to work all 7 days of the week.
• First-time travelers considered if all other requirements are met.
• Travelers with prior travel experience must show extensions at same location.
• Local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius at same bill rate.
• Returning staff must have a 12-month separation from the health system.
• Up to 14 days of RTO may be submitted; none in first week.
• Pass/Fail Tele test during orientation with 80% score; one attempt.
• Pass/Fail Medication exam during orientation.
• Pre-start and orientation modules required, with annual modules.
