Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift. Must have NC RRT licensure and 2 years of ED/critical care experience. Travel assignment with generous housing and licensure reimbursements is available.

Candidates should live 60 miles or more from the facility and be able to work night shifts with alternating weekends. Nursery experience is a plus and a full range of respiratory services is expected.

Qualifications

• NC RRT License required if applicable
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• Minimum Associate Degree in Respiratory Care
• 2 years of experience preferred, including ED and critical care
• Nursery experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Care for diverse patient populations across ED, ICU and hospital units
• Operate and monitor ventilators and respiratory equipment
• Maintain Cerner EHR documentation and order entry
• Provide respiratory therapies and patient education as needed
• Support high-retention team environment while working independently
