American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift. Must have NC RRT licensure and 2 years of ED/critical care experience. Travel assignment with generous housing and licensure reimbursements is available.

Candidates should live 60 miles or more from the facility and be able to work night shifts with alternating weekends. Nursery experience is a plus and a full range of respiratory services is expected.

Responsabilidades

• Provide respiratory therapies and patient education as needed
• Support high-retention team environment while working independently

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift position requiring NC RRT licensure and 2 years of ED/critical care experience.

• Minimum Associate Degree in Respiratory Care
• 2 years of experience preferred, including ED and critical care
• Nursery experience preferred

Responsibilities

• 355-bed Duke Lifepoint hospital with Brain Center, Cancer Center, Heart Center, Lung Center, Orthopedics, General & Vascular Surgery, Surgical Weight Loss, Women's Center, and Level 3 NICU
• 32-bed ED, 29-bed inpatient rehab, and 15-bed surgical suite & imaging
• Respiratory Therapy department on the 1st floor
• All patient populations including geriatric, adult, and pediatric
• Uses ventilators (Servo-I, Drager Evita 500, PB 840, Hamilton T-1 & MR-1), BiPAPs (V-60), ResMed CPAPs, High flow (Optiflow), MetaNebs, Vest, and Siemens RapidPoint 500e Blood Gas analyzers
• Cerner EHR
• Night shift 7p-7a
• Alternating weekend hours
• Possible call requirements
• No floating required
• Provide respiratory therapy services across full range of common diagnoses and treatments
• Work within a high-retention team environment while also functioning independently
• Gray or black solid-color scrubs preferred with no prints
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel assignment
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
