Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) for a night shift hospital position in Virginia. The role requires 2+ years of experience in ER, Critical Care, and Medical-Surgical settings.

The ideal candidate will hold CRT or RRT credentials, ACLS/BLS, VA license if applicable, and be proficient with Epic EMR. The position includes a 3x12 night schedule, housing and travel support, and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of Respiratory Therapy experience.
• Experience in ER, Critical Care, and Medical Surgical settings required.
• RRT or CRT certification required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA) required.
• VA license required if applicable.
• Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of start.
• Required knowledge of Epic EMR.
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Respiratory Therapy department.
• 3x12's night shift schedule, 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.
• Every other weekend required.
• No on-call requirements.
• No floating required.
• Epic EMR required.
• Provide respiratory therapy services across ER, Critical Care, and Medical Surgical units.
• Hunter Green scrub color required per facility dress code policy.
• Candidates must reside outside a 65-mile radius of the facility.
• Local candidates will not be considered.
