• Float to Westerly Hospital as needed.

Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT) for a short-term acute care Level III trauma center, requiring CT and RI state licensure and 2 years of experience including pediatrics.

Details

• Short-term acute care Level III trauma center with 252 staffed beds
• Part of the Yale New Haven Health System
• Unit focuses on respiratory and neuro diagnostics
• Day shift (4x10 hours, 8:00-18:30) and Evening shift (4x10 hours, 14:00-0:30) available
• 40 hours per week with at least every other weekend and every other holiday based on department need
• Floating to Westerly Hospital as needed
• Charting system is Epic
• Works with adult critical care, emergency department, NICU, and pediatric populations
• Performs neonatal/pediatric procedures including CPAP, intubation assist, and ventilator management
• Performs airway management, suctioning, and pulmonary hygiene procedures

• Travelers are expected to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities as needed
• Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted
• COVID vaccine and booster required with religious or medical exemption only
• One reference required for consideration
• Local candidates not accepted if within 75 miles of the facility
• Returning staff must be gone at least 2 years to be considered as a traveler
• Up to 7 days of RTO can be auto-approved

Pay Package

Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
