American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week hospital assignment in Farmington, Connecticut. The traveler will provide respiratory care in an adult population, with floating to ICU, ED, and other units as needed, on 12-hour days and a 36-hour work week.

Requirements include active RRT certification, BLS, 1-2 years of experience, Epic EMR proficiency, and prior travel experience; NRP is highly desired and a license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Call and holiday coverage as scheduled.

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week hospital assignment requiring 1-2 years of experience and active RRT certification.

Details

• Hospital-based Respiratory Therapy unit
• Adult patient population including respiratory/cardiac and orthopedic cases
• Floating required to ICU, ED, and medical/surgical floors as well as telemetry, psych, and NICU if applicable
• 12-hour day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Call and holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Active RRT certification through NBRC or equivalent certifying body required
• BLS certification required
• 1-2 years of experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Prior travel assignment experience required
• NRP certification highly desired
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• No holiday RTO; all time off must be requested at time of submission
• Local candidates accepted within 75 miles at a lower bill rate
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
