Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week night shift assignment in an acute care hospital requiring RRT/CRT certification and 1-2 years of experience.

Responsibilities include diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab department under physician direction, with a patient mix from neonate to geriatric. Expect travel-ready housing and licensure support.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of respiratory therapy experience required.
• ACLS/BLS (AHA) certification required; PALS/NRP required.
• RRT via NBRC required, or CRT/NBRC credentials accepted.
• Graduate of AMA-accredited School of Respiratory Therapy.
• Arizona Respiratory Care License required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab under physician direction.
• Care for a patient population from neonate to geriatric in an acute care trauma center.
• Manage a caseload of up to 30 patients per day and use Allscripts EMR.
• Work 12-hour night shifts with no on-call requirements.
• Maintain scrubs policy: any color except all black; furnishing not provided.
