Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Rehab RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Springfield, MO. You will provide rehabilitative nursing care, perform assessments, implement care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery.

The role requires at least one year of Rehab RN experience, active RN license, and BLS certification; ACLS/NIHSS certifications are preferred. Travel benefits and competitive pay are provided by Fusion Medical Staffing.

Qualifications

One year of recent Rehab RN experience.
Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

Complete nursing assessment of patients on the unit and document in records.
Prepare patients for surgery and educate on procedures and post-operative care.
Coordinate holistic patient care including mobility support and ADLs.
Monitor and evaluate patient responses to therapies and document progress.
Safely administer prescribed medications and treatments with proper documentation.
Maintain a clean, organized environment and ensure supplies are stocked.
Assist with patient transport to therapy sessions or other care areas.
Perform other duties within scope of practice.
Adhere to safety, infection control and regulatory standards.
