Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Rehabilitation for a travel nursing job in Saint Joseph, Missouri. The role is a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts in a Rehabilitation Hospital.

We require at least 1 year of rehab RN experience, current BLS, and Missouri licensure eligibility. The position offers travel benefits and a tax-free stipend depending on assignment details.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of RN experience in a rehabilitation setting.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Eligible for state licensure in Missouri.
• Travel RN with 13-week assignment and 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to rehabilitation patients including neurological and orthopedic cases.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with the rehab team.
• Monitor vital signs and neurological status, adjust plans as needed.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for side effects.
• Educate patients and families on recovery goals and home care.
• Respond to emergencies and stabilize patients as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR.
• Participate in discharge planning and coordination with case managers.
• Collaborate with physicians, physical and occupational therapists, and other staff.
