Job summary

Trinity Health’s FirstChoice nursing program seeks an experienced RN for part-time night shifts at MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center in Iowa. FirstChoice RNs fill short and long-term assignments across the health system, offering premium compensation and maximum flexibility.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment.
• Minimum of eighteen (18) months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
• Minimum two (2) years of recent clinical experience for all remaining specialties including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department and Behavioral Health.
• Required to have and maintain the credentials per their specialty area (ex: ACLS, TNCC, etc). BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital and across multiple locations/regions as needed.
• Assess, identify outcomes, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Act independently within license and scope of knowledge and experience.
• Maintain accountability for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support quality and improvement outcomes.
• Embrace new ideas and adapt to competing priorities.
