Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions seeks a Travel RN- L&D for an ASAP-start, 13-week assignment in Gadsden, AL. Shifts are Days (7a-7p) with a competitive hourly rate.

Candidates must have ACLS, BLS, NRP, and at least 2 years of L&D experience, plus Nursery RN experience, and be licensed in AL without NURSYS hits. Must live within 50 miles of the facility.

The Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing during the antepartum, intrapatum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phase of Obstetrical care to Labor and Delivery patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgement and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
