Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse for the Resource team in Concord, New Hampshire. The assignment starts 10/05/2026 for 18 weeks, with 12-hour day shifts and a 12x1 schedule in a hospital setting featuring Telemetry and Stepdown units.

You will provide direct adult patient care, monitor vitals, administer meds, document in Cerner, collaborate with the care team, and participate in rounds and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in NH or Compact state.
• BLS certification; NHISS required prior to start.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Dysrhythmia examination with a preferred score of 80%.
• 1–2 years Med-Surg; Telemetry/Stepdown experience highly desirable.
• Cerner EMR experience preferred; document and navigate unit workflows.
• Willingness to float to concord-area campuses as needed.
• Driver license with address matching demographics may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adults on Telemetry and Stepdown units.

• Administer medications, establish IV access, manage IV fluids.
• Document assessments and care plans in the EMR; participate in rounds.
• Collaborate with teams to develop and carry out care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adults on Telemetry and Stepdown units, including monitoring of vitals, hemodynamics, and overall clinical status
• Administer medications and treatments, establish IV access, and manage IV fluids per physician orders
• Document assessments, care plans, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic medical record (Cerner experience preferred)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and carry out individualized care plans; participate in rounds and discharge planning
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient conditions, elevate concerns promptly, and assist with code events as needed
• Provide patient and family education on diagnoses, treatments, and post-discharge care; assist with safe transfers and admissions

Requirements

• Active RN license in New Hampshire or a Compact state, with Nursys license verification
• BLS certification required; NH Issued Special Skills (NHISS) needed prior to start
• ACLS certification preferred
• Dysrhythmia examination required during onboarding with a preferred score of 80%
• 1-2 years minimum Med-Surg experience; experience in Telemetry or Stepdown units highly desirable
• Cerner EMR experience preferred; ability to document and navigate multiple unit workflows
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, acute-care setting and adapt to unit float requirements if assigned
• Driver license with address that matches demographics may be required for certain assignments
• Willingness to float to concord-area campuses (Laconia or Franklin) as needed
