Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse for a high-acuity Med Surg/Respiratory Care Unit in Concord, NH. This travel assignment runs 13 weeks starting 08/10/2026 with a 2x3 night schedule and 36 guaranteed hours per week in a hospital setting.

The role requires active NH licensure (or Compact), BLS/ACLS, and MS/tele experience. Cerner EMR experience is preferred; on onboarding, NHIS S verification is required and you may float as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct, patient-centered nursing care for adult medical-surgical patients with high-acuity needs, including respiratory considerations.
• Monitor patient status, perform assessments, administer prescribed medications, manage IV therapy, and respond to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary team; participate in discharge planning and patient/family education.
• Document care accurately in the electronic medical record (Cerner experience preferred) and adhere to unit protocols and safety standards.
• Support ongoing patient safety, infection prevention, and referral for ancillary services as indicated.
• May be asked to float to related units within the Concord area as needed to maintain appropriate staffing levels.

Requirements

• Active RN license in New Hampshire or a Compact state; NH or Compact license required at submission; NURSYS license verification for active licenses.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in medical-surgical and telemetry (MS/tele) settings.
• BLS and ACLS certifications; NHISS required prior to start; will complete a dysrhythmia exam during onboarding (target score 80%).
• Education: graduation from an accredited nursing program; RN licensure in good standing.
• EMR experience preferred (Cerner); ability to work in a high-acuity Med-Surg/Respiratory Care environment.
• RTO (time off) request must be included at submission; first-time travelers accepted.
