Healthforce seeks an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery travel assignment in Middlebury, Vermont. The role runs for 7 weeks starting 09/24/2026, with a 3x12-hour daytime shift pattern and weekly pay between $3,102 and $3,251.

You will provide care across Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, and Neonatal units and must hold an active Vermont RN license. This assignment includes support for onboarding, credentialing, and 24/7 recruiter assistance.

Qualifications

• Active Vermont RN license required.
• AHA BLS and NRP certifications.
• Minimum 1 year labor/delivery/postpartum/newborn experience.
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients and newborns across L&D, postpartum, and neonatal care.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status; assess labor progress; administer meds per policy and orders.
• Assist during delivery; support mother and family; participate in postpartum and newborn care.
• Document care in Epic and communicate with the multidisciplinary team.
• Float to med-surg and ED as needed to support operations and safety.
• Educate patients and families on newborn care, recovery, and discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients and newborns across Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, and Neonatal Care

• Assist during delivery, support the mother and family, and participate in postpartum and newborn care
• Document care in the electronic medical record (Epic) and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team
• Float to med-surg and ED units as needed to support unit operations and patient safety
• Educate patients and families on newborn care, recovery, and discharge planning

Requirements

• Active Vermont RN license at time of submission
• AHA BLS and NRP certifications
• Minimum 1 year of labor/delivery/postpartum/newborn (LDRP) experience
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years
• Prior travel experience preferred
• Ability to float to med-surg and ED units as part of assignment
