Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare seeks a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery travel assignment in Middlebury, Vermont. Start date 09/24/2026 for 7 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $3,102 to $3,251. Includes 3x12-hour daytime shifts in obstetric services within a clinical care environment.

The role requires active Vermont RN licensure, BLS/NRP, and 1 year LDRP experience. Epic EMR experience preferred; travel experience is a plus. Assignment supports onboarding, credentialing, and 24/7 recruiter assistance.

Qualifications

• Active Vermont RN license at time of submission.
• AHA BLS and NRP certifications.
• Minimum 1 year of labor/delivery/postpartum/newborn (LDRP) experience.
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years.
• Prior travel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients and newborns across Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, and Neonatal Care.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status, assess labor progress, and administer medications per policy and physician orders.
• Assist during delivery, support the mother and family, and participate in postpartum and newborn care.
• Document care in the electronic medical record (Epic) and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team.
• Float to med-surg and ED units as needed to support unit operations and patient safety.
• Educate patients and families on newborn care, recovery, and discharge planning.
