Qualificações

• Current RN license in the State of California.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; PALS within six months of hire.
• At least two years ICU experience or completion of approved ICU training.
• EPIC experience preferred.
• Vaccination policy compliance may be required; E-Verify participation may be required.
• Ability to work in ICU setting and collaborate with care team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and implement patient care for the ICU patient population served on the unit
• Monitor critical patient status, administer medications and therapies per orders, and respond rapidly to changes in condition
• Document patient care in the electronic health record (EPIC) and communicate findings with physicians, multidisciplinary teams, patients and families
• Collaborate with the ICU team to develop and adjust care plans, participate in rounds, and ensure adherence to unit standards and safety protocols
• Perform procedures and participate in ventilator and hemodynamic monitoring as appropriate; maintain infection control and patient safety practices
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and professional behavior, contributing to a respectful, compliant work environment

Requirements

• Current RN license in the State of California
• ACLS certification required; BLS certification following American Heart Association guidelines required
• PALS certification required within six months of hire
• At least two years of ICU experience and/or completion of an approved ICU training course; basic computer skills; EPIC experience preferred
• Vaccination policy compliance required per facility policy; E-Verify participation may be required
• Ability to work in an ICU setting and collaborate effectively with the care team
