Qualifications

• Active RN license in Massachusetts or eligibility for licensure in the state.
• ICU or critical care nursing experience; level 1 trauma experience preferred.
• Certifications: BLS/ACLS required; NIHSS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ICU-level nursing care for high-acuity patients with assessments, monitoring and timely interventions as ordered.
• Administer medications and therapies, manage hemodynamic support and ventilator care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team; float to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units as needed.

Overview

Registered Nurse – ICU travel assignment in Burlington, Massachusetts. Start date 11/23/2026 for 13 weeks, with a weekly pay range of $2,615 to $2,828. Shifts are 12 hours, rotating days and nights (7p–7:30a, 7a–7:30p) with rotation every 4 weeks. The assignment is in a hospital setting, and includes guaranteed hours as described in the contract terms. This travel temporary assignment requires clinicians ready to support multiple high-acuity care areas within a hospital ICU environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ICU-level nursing care for high-acuity patients, including comprehensive assessments, ongoing monitoring, and timely interventions per physician orders
• Administer medications and therapies, manage hemodynamic support, ventilator care, and other critical care treatments as indicated
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and support staff; float to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record; communicate changes in patient status to the care team
• Uphold patient safety and infection control standards; ensure compliance with established policies and protocols; participate in ongoing professional practice and credentialing requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license in Massachusetts or eligibility for licensure in the state
• Certifications: BLS/ACLS required; NIHSS preferred
• ICU or critical care nursing experience; level 1 trauma experience preferred; if no prior travel experience, level 1 trauma will be required
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts and to float to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units as assigned
• Pass a day-one onboarding process and adhere to unit-specific onboarding requirements
