Job summary

Healthforce is seeking an experienced ICU travel nurse for a Milton, MA assignment. This 8-week position requires 12-hour night shifts and 72 hours biweekly with floating to PACU, step-down, and ED as needed. Applicants must hold an MA RN license, with BLS/ACLS and Epic EMR experience. Expect 2–3 years of ICU experience and strong teamwork to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Overview

Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) travel assignment in Milton, MA. Start date: 12/08/2026. Duration: 8 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,557–$2,614 per week. Guaranteed hours: 72 hours biweekly (approximately 36 hours per week). Shift: 12-hour nights (3x12 Nights), every other weekend. Setting: hospital ICU.

Responsibilities

• Provide ICU nursing care for adult patients requiring advanced monitoring and interventions
• Perform ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, vasoactive infusions, and sedation titration
• Interpret ECG and cardiac rhythms; respond to dysrhythmias and post STEMI care
• Administer medications, titrate therapies per protocol, and ensure patient safety and stability
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for care coordination, discharge planning, and escalation as needed
• Float to PACU, step-down, and ED to support holding patients while maintaining ICU standards

Requirements

• Current MA RN license; MA license can be applied for at time of offer (temporary and permanent licensure acceptable)
• BLS and ACLS certification through American Heart Association
• Epic experience required
• 2–3 years of related ICU experience
• Ability to manage ventilators, vasoactive infusions, sedation titration, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Pass/Fail ECG/Telemetry test and medications test at day-one orientation
• Ability to float to PACU, step-down, and ED as needed
• CCRN preferred
