Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing (CA).
• BLS/CPR certification from an approved vendor; additional CPR acceptable.
• TNCC required.
• PALS certification required (AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS).
• ACLS certification required (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS).
• Minimum of two years ER or acute care nursing experience.
• BSN preferred; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of ER patients.
• Assess patients, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate progress toward outcomes.
• Administer medications, monitor responses, and coordinate care with physicians and other health professionals.
• Supervise and direct nursing staff and collaborate across disciplines to ensure safe, healing care.
• Participate in discharge planning and provide patient/family education.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety, infection control, and quality standards.

• Participate in discharge planning and provide patient and family education to support ongoing recovery


• Maintain accurate documentation in the patient record and uphold safety, infection control, and quality standards

Requirements

• Active RN license for the state of practice (California) and in good standing


• BLS/CPR certification from an approved vendor; additional CPR certification accepted as applicable


• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required


• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required (AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS)


• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS)


• Minimum of two years of recent ER or acute care nursing experience


• BSN is preferred; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing


• Ability to work in a fast-paced ER environment and on a night shift
