HealthForce Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for a travel ER assignment in the United States. The position runs for 13 weeks with night shifts (1900-0730) and a guaranteed start date of 11/22/2026.

You will work in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital ER with chest pain and stroke center capabilities, and you’ll receive Epic training during orientation. Required are an active Kansas RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS/NIHSS and Conscious Sedation competencies, plus 1 year of ED experience (2 years

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Kansas or multi-state RN license
• ED nursing experience: 1 year within last 12 months; 2 years preferred
• Ability to work in a high-volume ED and participate in a 13-week travel assignment
• Orientation and onboarding included, with credentialing timelines

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care in the ED, including triage, initial assessment, monitoring, and ongoing evaluation of patient status
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and therapies per protocol; respond to clinical changes and code events as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Document assessments, treatments, and patient responses accurately in the electronic health record; ensure continuity of care and patient safety
• Manage inpatient boarders and assist with discharge planning and patient education
• Maintain infection control practices, safety standards, and adherence to EHR and hospital policies

Requirements

• Active RN license in Kansas or multi-state RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and Conscious Sedation Competency required
• ED nursing experience: minimum 1 year within the last 12 months; 2 years preferred
• Education: current RN licensure; nursing degree/diploma required to practice as an RN
• Ability to work in a high-volume ED, participate in a 13-week travel assignment, and complete orientation and onboarding
• Schedule flexibility for nights and weekend coverage as described in assignment details; will not float out of the unit
