Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an ER patient population according to standards and the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; respond to emergencies with critical thinking and clinical judgment.
• Administer medications, monitor patient status, and intervene in deteriorating conditions as part of the emergency response.
• Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and other disciplines; supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff as needed.
• Document care accurately in the patient record and ensure compliance with policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
