Qualifications

• 4 years of adult and pediatric ED experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS; TNCC/ENPC preferred.
• Able to work 12-hour night shifts (3 consecutive nights).
• Proficient with EMR; thrives in high-acuity ED.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ER for adult and pediatric patients, including triage, rapid assessment, monitoring, and interventions.
• Administer medications and perform treatments; assist with procedures and titrate therapies as ordered.
• Collaborate with ED physicians, nursing colleagues, and other disciplines; communicate patient status clearly.
• Document accurately in the electronic health record; maintain patient safety, infection control, and comfort.
• Prepare for trauma resuscitations and Code events; coordinate patient transfers and admissions as needed.
• Maintain equipment readiness and ensure sterile technique and adherence to protocols in a fast-paced environment.
