Registered Nurse, Emergency Department travel assignment based in Austell, Georgia. Start date: 10/05/2026. 13-week assignment with a weekly pay range of $1,631 to $1,764. Guaranteed hours: 0 per week. Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts (3x12). Work takes place in a clinical, high-acuity emergency department setting with an interdisciplinary team focused on delivering safe, high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to ED patients, including rapid assessment, triage, and ongoing monitoring of vital signs and clinical status
• Administer medications, therapies, and treatments per physician orders; monitor for adverse reactions and document responses
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and case managers to develop and execute individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
• Prioritize patient safety, infection control, and adherence to regulatory standards; communicate with patients and families to explain care and discharge plans
• Respond to emergencies, implement de-escalation strategies, and participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practices

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia
• Valid, current authorization to practice as a nurse in the state (GA Professional Nurse Practice Act compliance)
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency department environment
• Knowledge of and commitment to the ANA Code of Ethics and professional nursing standards
• Education: Graduate of an approved nursing program (RN)
• Ability to work night shifts and meet the demands of a 12-hour ED schedule
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical‑thinking skills
