Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking an Evening Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Eagles Travel Team at Eastern Correctional Institution in Westover, MD. The Travel Program RN will work across Maryland facilities per contract needs.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with Maryland active license.
• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Minimum one year RN experience in outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility preferred.
• Corrections experience preferred.
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance (drug screen and background check).

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients.
• Work under the Director of Nursing and Nursing Supervisor.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess physical, psychological and social needs.
• Travel between Maryland facilities per contract needs; assignments at one location at a time.

We are currently seeking afull-time Evening Travel Registered Nurse (RN)to join ourCenturion Eagles Travel Teamat Eastern Correctional Institution located in Westover, MD.

TheTravel Program RNwill work between various facilities/locations throughout the state of Maryland, per contract needs. Each assignmentwill be restricted to one location. TheRNis responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Registered Nurses work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological and social needs of the patient. Our travelers have opportunities throughout the country and are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees.

Shift: Nights, every other weekend, 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with an active license to practice in Maryland
• Minimum of one year of work experience as an RN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility preferred
• Corrections experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
