Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Western Correctional Institution in Cumberland, MD. The RN will provide holistic care to incarcerated patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team under the Nursing Director and Supervisor.

Shifts are three 12-hour evenings (6:30 p.m.–7:00 a.m.) with rotating weekends/holidays. Travel experience is preferred; Maryland license and CPR/BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Corrections experience preferred.
• Travel nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the scope of practice.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to assess and respond to physical, psychological, and social needs.
• Work under the Director of Nursing and Nursing Supervisor; ensure patient safety during 12‑hour evening shifts.

We are currently seeking a full-time Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Western Correctional Institution located in Cumberland, MD.Our travelers have opportunities throughout the country and are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees.The Travel Program RN will work between various facilities/locations throughout the state of Maryland, per contract needs. Each assignment will be restricted to one location. The RN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
