Job summary

Polar King International, Inc. is seeking a full-time Refrigeration Service Technical Support member to troubleshoot mechanical and refrigeration issues for customers, either on site or off site.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of professional refrigeration experience including installation, service and diagnostics. The role involves diagnosing issues with meters, gauges, probes, and pressure readings, plus travel to service calls and installations.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills including reading wiring diagrams and testing circuits.
• Experience with high/low voltage electrical systems (relays, contactors, sensors, motors).
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical and refrigeration issues (superheat/subcooling, airflow, component failures).
• Proficient with computers, ethernet networking, Wi‑Fi connectivity and diagnostics.
• Strong communication skills with customers, service managers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues using electrical meters, gauges, temperature probes and pressure readings.
• Travel for service calls, installations and on-site support to customers.
• Assist field technicians and customers in troubleshooting refrigeration system issues.
