Based in Houston, this position requires extensive travel to project sites and industry events. You will develop strategic plans, prepare quotes, and collaborate with technical teams to meet customer needs while upholding Nucor's standards and values.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of racking and platform engineering requirements.
• Solid understanding of the Material Handling Industry.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Travel to project sites, as required.
• Able to travel to industry events as needed.

Responsibilities

• Increase Nucor Warehouse Systems sales and profit.
• Analyze project profitability, revenue, margins, and scope of work.
• Develop strategic plans to enhance client relationships and achieve sales targets.
• Regularly report on sales activities, progress targets, and account performance.
• Commit to acquiring new Distribution accounts.
• Assist Distributors in layout and take-offs.
• Increase sales in Territory.
• Educate and train customers on Nucor Warehouse Systems.
• Prepare quotes containing BOM, pricing, and lead times.
• Build strong working relationships with customers and sales teammates.
• Collaborate with technical teams to design and propose custom pallet racking.
• Interface with inter-company departments.
• Travel to meet customers and project sites; industry events as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
