Military, Veterans and Diverse Job Seekers is seeking a Software Support Specialist I to provide direct customer support, assess client software needs, and assist with testing, trainings, and installations in a dynamic environment.

The role involves configuring client data, following Change Control procedures, and travel up to 25% (international travel may be required). Strong communication and CRM/SQL skills are essential.

Qualifications

• One or more years of customer service experience, preferably in tech support or telecommunications.
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and CRM usage.
• Experience with SQL, Excel, Crystal Reports, or similar database/reporting tools.
• Ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, and select appropriate actions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including group training ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct customer support with professional interaction and timely responses.
• Assess and identify client software needs.
• Assist in testing of new and existing software.
• Plan and conduct end-user training.
• Assist with software installations and data conversion configurations.
• Ensure Change Control Process is followed for changes/upgrades in test and production environments.
• Travel up to 25% by car or plane; some positions require international travel.
