Job summary

Walsh Group, Ltd. in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, is seeking a Project Scheduler for our Data Center Group to develop baselines and coordinate with project management, superintendents and subcontractors on complex data center projects.

The role uses Primavera P6 to load resources and costs, analyze schedule changes, forecast budgets, and prepare detailed weekly and monthly reports for the project team. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of project scheduling experience.
• Primavera P6 experience required.
• Understanding of baseline/progress schedules, floats, critical path.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Develops a baseline schedule coordinating with project management, superintendents and subcontractors.
• Uses scheduling software to implement, maintain and analyze the project schedule. Includes coding and loading of resources, loading of costs and loading of general sequencing information.
• Coordinates all project controls to assess risk and prepares risk/impact assessments of schedule changes.
• Analyzes changes to project schedule and impact on cost and timeline.
• Ensures all project change orders and delays are documented, analyzed and reviewed.
• Communicates impact on timeline and cost; leads scheduling meetings and prepares reports.
• Works with accounting to forecast and manage the project budget relative to schedule.
• Performs claim mitigation, estimating and what-if analyses.
