Job summary

The Walsh Group is seeking a Project Scheduler for our Data Center Group to work on a jobsite in Goodyear, AZ. You will develop a baseline schedule and coordinate with project management, superintendents and subcontractors.

Using Primavera P6 and best practices you will analyze changes, forecast budgets, prepare weekly to quarterly reports, and communicate schedule impacts to the team. Some travel is required in this role.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of project scheduling experience.
• Primavera (P6) experience required.
• Baseline, progress, recovered schedule, float, critical path concepts knowledge.
• Time impact analysis and claim experience preferred.
• Ability to multi-task in large teams and solve complex problems.
• Some travel required.

Responsibilities

• Develops a baseline schedule while coordinating with project management, superintendents and subcontractors.
• Uses scheduling software to implement, maintain and analyze the project schedule including costs and resources.
• Coordinates project controls and prepares risk/impact assessments for changes.
• Analyzes changes to schedule and impact on cost and timeline.
• Ensures change orders and delays are documented and reviewed.
• Communicates schedule and cost impacts to the project team.
• Leads scheduling meetings and prepares weekly/monthly/quarterly reports.
• Forecasts and manages the project budget in relation to schedule.
• Performs what-if analyses and contingency planning.
