Job summary

Brinkmann Constructors in Missouri is seeking a Traveling Assistant Superintendent to support project oversight across multiple locations. This role involves coordinating with the Project Superintendent and Manager, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery while travel is required.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in construction management or related field, 3+ years of on-site supervision, and proven ability to read plans, manage budgets, and lead teams in diverse commercial projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred.
• 3+ years on-site supervisory experience of commercial construction.
• Experience supervising ground-up projects of at least $5+ million in diverse commercial market sectors.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedules.
• Ability to understand and solve complex challenges and present alternative solutions.
• Ability to travel and work outdoors; physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field construction activities and coordinate with the Project Superintendent/Manager.
• Direct, coordinate and monitor construction workers on site.
• Manage project scope, budget, and schedule; reflect approved changes.
• Ensure safety and quality standards; conduct audits.
• Record progress and project data on construction documents.
• Maintain client relationships and assist in project closeout.
