Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Class B Lineman to build and repair overhead distribution systems. This safety-focused role involves working on energized and de-energized lines, climbing structures, and operating bucket trucks and other line equipment across job sites as needed.

You will report to the Foreman and join a team that supports outages, storms, and emergencies, with travel and out-of-state assignments part of the routine.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work outside normal hours, including weekends, holidays, emergency callouts, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain and repair overhead distribution systems, safely.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators and hardware.
• Follow switching, tagging, grounding procedures and handle live voltages.
