Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Class B Lineman to join our field crews. This role focuses on constructing, repairing, and maintaining overhead distribution systems, including energized and de-energized lines, with an emphasis on safety and successful outage responses.

You will climb structures, work outdoors in varied conditions, and operate bucket trucks and other line equipment. CDL is required, and travel including out-of-state assignments is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work extended hours.
• Comfortable climbing structures and performing live-line work.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair overhead distribution systems, energized or de-energized.
• Install and repair lines, poles, insulators and related hardware.
• Perform live-line work using approved gloving and hot-stick methods.
• Climb structures safely and operate bucket trucks and other equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE requirements at all times.
