Job summary

Summit Spine and Joint Centers is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our region 10 clinic locations in Georgia. Under supervision of a licensed provider, you will chart in the EMR, facilitate referrals, and perform clinical duties in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of clinical experience, familiarity with EMR systems, and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Travel to multiple locations may be required; the position is full-time and non-exempt with benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience using EMR systems (E Clinical Works) preferred.
• 1 year clinical experience preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients to be seen by providers including rooming, vitals, chart merging, and direct communication with patients.
• Assist providers in exam rooms.
• Process messages between patients and administration or other medical offices.
• Report to office manager and/or practice administrator.
