Job summary

Summit Spine and Joint Centers is seeking a Medical Assistant to perform clinical duties under supervision. You will chart in the EMR, triage patients, and support providers across multiple clinic locations, with potential travel between sites.

The role is full-time with benefits, reporting to the Assistant Operations Manager. Primary assignments are region 1 locations, with hours subject to coverage and ASC needs.

Qualifications

• Experience using E Clinical Works or other EMR systems preferred.
• 1-year clinical experience preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients to be seen by providers, including rooming patients, taking vitals, merging charts, and communicating with patients.
• Assist providers in exam rooms.
• Process messages between patients and administration or other medical offices.
• Report to office manager and/or practice administrator.
• Other duties as assigned.
