Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. in Houston is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Land Development team. You will lead civil teams, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with owners, architects, and outside team members to execute projects.

Requires eight+ years in civil engineering with four years in project management, and travel to sites nationwide. The position offers competitive compensation and bonus eligibility based on performance and company success.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight (8) years of total experience, with four (4) as a Project Manager (or equivalent).
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university/college.
• Travel to project sites and other Westwood offices throughout the United States.

Responsibilities

• Manages land development civil engineering projects efficiently (meets schedules and budgets).
• Leads land development civil teams to produce civil plan sets.
• Coordinates with Owner/Architect and outside team members to execute projects.
• Manages internal support teams (survey, traffic, hydrology, hydraulics, etc.) and communicates schedules and budgets.
• Implements QA/QC program and ensures project-wide compliance.
• Works with City/County staff for approval of project plans.
• Manages multiple projects simultaneously and allocates resources through different stages.
• Administers construction services portions including RFI responses and site meetings with contractors.
• Oversees up to five assigned technical personnel, assigns projects, reviews work, trains staff, and supports performance evaluations.
