Kaycha Group, Inc in Arizona is seeking a Lab Director to oversee the planning and operations of the assigned laboratory, ensuring quality and safety compliance while supporting rapid growth. The role requires dynamic leadership, budget stewardship, and strong experience with cannabis testing methods and instrumentation.

You will lead cross-functional teams, drive KPI targets, and ensure adherence to ISO-17025 and company policies. Travel may be required as part of coordinating with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of laboratory operations and leadership experience.
• Experience in cannabis testing or ISO-17025 quality systems.
• Strong knowledge of analytical instrumentation and method validation.
• Ability to manage budgets, KPIs, and cross-functional teams.
• Pass Level 2 background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the laboratory team for high productivity.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure safety/compliance.
• Manage lab budgets, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensure ISO-17025 and company policies are followed.
• Drive customer service excellence and stakeholder relations.
• Collaborate with QA to resolve OOS/CAPA findings.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
