Job summary

Meriton is seeking an Infrastructure Deployment Technician to install low voltage cabling, rack builds, network gear, and AV deployments across offices. Up to 75% travel nationwide is required. You will interpret build guides, document results, and collaborate with IT engineers to ensure safe, high-quality installations.

The role emphasizes hands-on work, attention to cable management, and adherence to Meriton standards while supporting site readiness and cross-team handoffs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a hands-on infrastructure role such as low voltage technician, cabling technician, AV installation technician, or data center/rack-and-stack technician.
• Experience pulling, terminating, and testing low voltage cabling (Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6a; fiber experience is a plus).
• Experience building and dressing racks and installing network hardware (switches, firewalls, patch panels, cable managers, etc.).
• Experience installing AV hardware in conference rooms or commercial spaces (displays, projectors, microphones).

Responsibilities

• Install and terminate low voltage cabling (data, voice, and related infrastructure).
• Build and dress server racks with rails, patch panels, and UPS units.
• Install network equipment such as switches and firewalls following standards.
• Deploy AV solutions in conference rooms and shared spaces.
• Patch cables and map ports in closets and server rooms.
• Collaborate with project teams to interpret build guides and diagrams.
• Document work performed with as-built photos and site documentation.
• Coordinate with building managers and vendors to support installations.
• Adhere to safety guidelines on ladders, lifts, and electrical equipment.
