Job summary

Meriton seeks an Infrastructure Deployment Technician to install low voltage cabling, assemble server racks, and deploy network and AV hardware nationwide. The role emphasizes strict adherence to standards, detailed documentation, and hands-on project support across multiple sites.

Travel up to 75% is required, with occasional lift of equipment and on-site collaboration with engineers, project managers, and vendors. This position supports Meriton's growing infrastructure initiatives.

Qualifications

• Hands-on infrastructure experience with cabling, AV, and rack builds.
• Experience pulling, terminating, and testing low voltage cabling (Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6a).
• Ability to travel up to 75% and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Install and terminate low voltage cabling across data infrastructure.
• Build and dress server racks with components.
• Install network equipment following documented standards.
• Deploy AV solutions in conference spaces and meeting rooms.
• Patch cables and map ports in closets and server rooms.
• Interpret build guides and diagrams for deployments.
• Document results and updates to site documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors and building management as needed.
• Maintain clean, labeled, and organized closets and racks.
• Support cutovers and go-live events on-site.
• Follow safety guidelines and best practices during installs.
