Job summary

ProAutomated is seeking curious, adaptable problem-solvers for field-based roles across North America. You’ll travel to customer sites, perform on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks, and collaborate with engineers to ensure projects move smoothly.

Qualified candidates have 3+ years in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering, a technical degree or hands-on experience, and are willing to relocate within 50 miles of a major airport.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering.
• Technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience in relevant field.
• Willingness to travel and be away from home on rotation.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Support data center startups, performing on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks.
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse fulfillment and manufacturing systems.
• Collaborate with automation and controls engineers to test, troubleshoot, and validate systems on-site.
• Provide clear communication and progress updates to customers and project teams.
