Job summary

ProAutomated, a smaller, people-first firm, seeks travel-ready field service engineers to keep automation projects moving across North America. You'll work on-site with customers, perform mechanical, electrical, and control checks, and lead startup and acceptance testing for warehouses and manufacturing lines.

Our four-week paid training builds foundational skills in electrical systems, programming, and networking.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or hands-on experience (3+ years) in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering.
• Willingness to travel; rotation schedule and on-site work.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Live within 50 miles of a major airport; relocation assistance available.
• Basic foundation in electrical systems, programming, and networking.

Responsibilities

• Support data center startups, performing on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks.
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse fulfillment and manufacturing systems.
• Partner with automation engineers to test, troubleshoot, and validate systems on-site.
• Provide clear communication and updates to customers and project teams.
• Travel rotations follow a 5 on-2 off, 10 on-4 off, or 14 on-7 off schedule.
