Job summary

ProAutomated Inc. is hiring a travel-focused field team member to support automation projects across North America. You will perform on-site checks and lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing with our customers.

A technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering is required, and you should be comfortable with frequent travel. We offer four weeks of paid training, competitive starting salary, per diem, mileage reimbursement, and

Qualifications

Working knowledge of electrical systems, programming and communication networking.
Hands-on field experience in automation or related systems is preferred.
Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems in onsite environments.

Responsibilities

Support on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks for automation projects.
Lead startup, checkout and acceptance testing for warehouse and manufacturing systems.
Collaborate with engineers to test, troubleshoot, and validate systems on-site.
Provide clear updates to customers and project teams on progress and issues.
Travel on rotation schedules (5 on/2 off, 10 on/4 off, or 14 on/7 off) to different locations.
