ProAutomated is seeking curious, adaptable problem-solvers for a travel-heavy, field-based role that keeps you moving across North America. You will support data center startups, perform on-site checks, and collaborate with customers and our engineering teams to ensure systems operate flawlessly where it matters most.

Starting salaries range from $60,000 to $75,000 depending on location, education, and experience, with per diem, mileage reimbursement, and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or hands-on experience in electrical/mechanical/automation engineering.
• Willing to travel and work away from home on rotation.
• Able to work with cross-functional teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• Support data center startups with on-site checks.
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse/manufacturing systems.
• Collaborate with automation engineers to test and troubleshoot on-site.
• Provide clear progress updates to customers and project teams.
• Travel rotations: 5 on - 2 off, 10 on - 4 off, or 14 on - 7 off.
• Work with customers and ProAutomated team across diverse locations.
