Job summary

ProAutomated is seeking curious, travel-loving engineers for a field role that keeps automation projects moving across North America.

Starting salary $60,000–$75,000 with per diem, mileage reimbursement, and growth opportunities. You will train for four weeks and then support data-center startups and warehouse systems on-site.

There is no fixed office; travel rotations and relocation help are provided. Applicants must live within 50 miles of a major airport and be authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Four-week paid training to prepare technically skilled field personnel.
• Foundation in electrical systems, programming, and networking.
• Must live within 50 miles of a major airport.

Responsibilities

• Support data center startups with onsite mechanical, electrical, and control checks.
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse systems.
• Collaborate with automation engineers to test and validate systems on-site.
• Communicate progress clearly to customers and project teams.
• Travel rotations: 5 on - 2 off, 10 on – 4 off, or 14 on – 7 off.
• Work with diverse customers while backed by the ProAutomated team.
