Job summary

JB & Associates manages Buff City Soap and Sun Tan City stores and seeks a District Maintenance Manager to lead facilities and equipment maintenance across locations. You will oversee preventive maintenance, vendor relations, and safety compliance while coordinating with field operations and ownership to stay on budget.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of building systems, repairs, and equipment maintenance.
• Experience managing budgets, vendors, and multiple projects to on‑time completion.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication with ownership and operations teams.
• Willingness to travel regularly across a multi‑state market.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance management software.

Responsibilities

• Own preventive maintenance programs for facilities and equipment across locations.
• Manage the facility work-order system from intake to completion and report on backlog.
• Establish and manage the maintenance budget; review invoices and seek cost savings.
• Source and manage outside vendors/contractors with scope, schedule, and cost controls.
• Ensure sites meet safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate rapid resolution of escalated facility issues to minimize downtime and revenue loss.
• Track equipment lifecycle and plan capital replacements proactively.
• Partner with field operations and district managers to align priorities with business goals.
