Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with 1+ years of experience and ARRT(R) certification, skilled in all X-ray procedures and surgical C-arm use.

Details

• Day shift, 4x10 hour shifts, Tuesday-Friday from 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM
• No weekend requirements
• Voluntary, non-mandatory on-call availability
• Epic EMR experience required
• Work settings include adult and pediatric acute care, outpatient, ED, ICU, NICU, PICU, operating room, and bedside/portable procedures
• Performs abdomen, upper and lower extremity, spine, pelvis, chest, and head imaging
• Performs fluoroscopy studies including barium swallow, contrast enema, ERCP, trauma cases, and upper GI series preferred
• Performs mobile and surgical procedures including C-arm, portable abdomen, and portable chest imaging
• Uses GE, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba, and PACS equipment
• May float between sister facilities as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• ARRT(R) and BLS certifications required
• WA state license required in hand at submission (license required if applicable)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Experience performing all X-ray procedures and running surgical C-arms required
• Knowledge of infection prevention, isolation precautions/PPE, and radiation safety required
• Experience with preparation and/or administration of contrast media required

Additional Information

• First-time travelers accepted
• Former Providence permanent employees must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months and reside outside a 50-mile radius to qualify
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• RTO requests must be submitted upfront during the application process
• Candidates accepted from within a 50-mile local radius at a lower bill rate
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years are required
