Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Michigan. You will work 12-hour nights (6:30 PM–7:00 AM), 36 hours per week, at a 202-bed regional hospital with strong specialties in cardiology, cancer, orthopedics, and neurosciences.

Requirements include 2+ years X-ray experience, ARRT certification, and BLS. You will be part of an imaging team, with weekend shifts and no on-call requirements. Openings: 1.

Details

• Imaging Department at a 202-bed regional hospital serving northern Lower Michigan and the eastern Upper Peninsula


• Full-service care with emphasis on cardiology, cancer, orthopedics, and neurosciences


• Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM


• Weekend work required


• No on-call requirements


• 13-week assignment

Additional Information

• Perform a variety of imaging procedures consistent with established policies and procedures under general supervision


• Operate and maintain imaging department equipment including X-ray


• Position patients and use radiologic equipment to capture images as requested by physicians


• Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients to ensure comfort and confidence


• Notify physician on duty of exam results


• Matching scrubs required for dress code


• Candidates living within a 35 mile radius of the facility are considered local travelers with adjusted pay rate


• No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested during the assignment
