Job summary

Shifts are days, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 24 hours per week (3x8), with float between two campuses 30–40 minutes apart and EOW/EOH schedule. Epic/PACS used; on-site full shifts with downtime handling and EKG pass/fail testing may apply.

Qualifications

Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a brand-new freestanding ER, requiring ARRT(R) certification, prior travel experience, and documented pediatric experience.

Details

• Work in a brand-new, state-of-the-art freestanding ER setting
• Day shift schedule, 3x8 hours from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Float required between two campuses located 30-40 minutes apart with advance notice
• Every other weekend/every other holiday (EOW/EOH) requirement
• Uses Epic for charting and PACS for imaging
• May work alone at one campus depending on shift, requiring a full 12-hour shift without a 30-minute break

Requirements

• ARRT(R) certification and MA Radiology License required if applicable
• BLS certification required
• Prior travel assignment experience requiredDocumented pediatric imaging experience in a complex medical center required
• Epic charting experience required
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Must be able to perform upper and lower extremity, spine, pelvis, chest, and head imaging
• Experience with mobile/surgical and C-arm procedures required
• Must provide 2 references, with one from a Nurse Manager or higher

Additional Information

• Must be a well-rounded technologist comfortable imaging both adult and pediatric patients
• Must remain onsite for the full shift even during downtime when working alone
• Pass/fail EKG test required for consideration
• Candidates must reside within 75 miles of the facility
